In September 2011, Cessna announced it is launching the Citation M2, a stretched Citation Mustang that will hold 2 more passengers and cruise 40 knots faster, with a range of 1,300 nm. Price should be around $4.2 million.
The following month, Cessna announced the launch of the new Citation Latitude, a mid-size business jet with room for up to 8 passengers and a range of 2000 nm. The aircraft is priced at around $15 million. It will cruise at 440 knots and will have a stand-up cabin. It is a clean sheet design and incorporates the widest cabin of any jet built by Cessna, a whopping 77″ (6.41 ft.).
